Keli Smith Puzo (Director): Keli Smith Puzo, FH Life Club Owner and Co-Director, is a veteran of international hockey with nearly 10 years of experience on the U.S. Women’s National Team. A two-time Olympian who represented the USA in both the Beijing (2008) and London (2012) Games, Puzo also played in multiple World Cups, Pan American Games, Champions’ Challenges, Olympic Qualifiers and continental tournaments before retiring in 2012 after playing in almost 200 international matches. At the collegiate level, she was a national champion (1999), three-time All-American and three-year captain at the University of Maryland. While representing her country as an athlete, Puzo accumulated over five years of coaching experience at the Division I level. She has coached with a variety of programs, including Miami University, University of Virginia, American University and Georgetown University. Puzo took a break in 2009 from Team USA to play professionally in Spain and again in 2010 and 2011 to give birth to her two children. Puzo retired from the national team in 2012 and works full-time coaching and giving back to the sport she loves. She continues to support USA Field Hockey’s quest to provide better and improved tools and resources for all coaches from the grassroots level up to High Performance. Keli holds USA Field Hockey's Level 2 Coaching Certification and works with USAFH to deliver coaching courses around the country. She currently resides in Oxford, OH with her husband, Inako, and their two sons, Xavi and Ian.

Hannah Lipton (Boyer) (Associate Director): Hannah Lipton is a former NCAA Division I student-athlete from Indiana University. While playing with the Hoosiers, she accumulated multiple Big Ten and NCAA honors. After graduating, Hannah continued to stay involved in the game and gained coaching experience in a variety of settings. She spent the 2014-2015 season as the assistant coach at Division I Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT, where she assisted with player development, video analysis, recruiting, and the day-to-day operations of the program. Lipton has coaching experience with clubs in Kentucky, Connecticut, and Ohio, and has coached multiple college camps over the years. She most recently served in a temporary position as the Acting Head Coach at Division III Wittenberg University in the fall of 2019 to early 2020. She holds a USA Field Hockey Level 2 coaching accreditation.
Lipton earned four varsity letters while playing field hockey in the Big Ten conference, where she served as team captain her final two seasons. She earned Second Team All-Big Ten Honors as a defender during her junior and senior seasons, and also picked up NFHCA All-Region Second Team Honors during her senior season. Following her senior year, she was presented the Spirit of Indiana Director's Award.

Corie McLaughlin (Select Head Coach & U-14 Director):
Corie began coaching at FHL in 2017, when she took over at the helm of the U14 Elite program. Prior to FHL, she coached at her former club, the top in the country, WC Eagles. During college, she worked with FSC where she led their club to their first 1st place finishes at both the U16 and U14 NIT. At both clubs, she has worked with current and former Junior National Team and National Indoor team members. As a player, Corie was a defensive or left midfielder at Saint Joseph’s University. She graduated in 2015 with a B.S. in Mathematics and a minor in Fine Art.
A Chester Springs, PA native, Corie moved to Columbus in 2017 to work with City Year, an Americorps program that provides support in inner-city schools across the country. She has continued this work as a math and computer science teacher at KIPP Columbus. In her spare time, she practices ashtanga yoga, and tries her best to continue drawing and reading. She plans to stay as a coach at FHL due to its collaborative atmosphere, opportunities to continue to learn as a coach, and athlete-centered approach.

Megan Paul: FHL is thrilled to have Megan Paul as a coach and mentor for our young athletes. Megan is originally from Novi, Michigan where she was a standout high school player. Paul joined the Novi Hall of Fame at the conclusion of her senior year and will be remembered as one of the program's greatest players.
After graduation, Megan attended Miami University on an athletic scholarship and competed with the RedHawks all four years. Megan moved to Columbus in 2018 to take a job with Abercrombie and Fitch as a Financial Analyst and now shares her knowledge and passion for the game of field hockey with our athletes.

Rachel (Hollenbach) Collins: Rachel moved to Columbus in 2018 and is a wonderful addition to our staff. Rachel grew up in Selinsgrove, PA (also Keli Puzo's hometown) and later got recruited to play DI field hockey at the University of Louisville. Rachel was a standout center-midfielder for U of L.
After graduating, Rachel obtained her master's in physical therapy. She moved to Pittsburgh where she began working in the physical therapy field and stayed involved in field hockey on the side. Rachel was the head coach and director for USAFH's Futures program in Pittsburgh and also helped a local club.

Hannah Pany: Hannah was born and raised in Pennsylvania, where she was a standout player at Parkland High School in Schnecksville. With much club and high school success, she was recruited to play for The Ohio State University. Hannah led the team's defense from 2014-2018. Pany was team captain, led the team in assists her senior year, and started in every game her sophomore, junior, and senior year.
Hannah previously served as the Assistant Coach at Ohio State University and at Kenyon College. Pany holds a USAFH Level 1 coaching accreditation.

Roisin Dougherty: Roisin is the Assistant Coach at Ohio Wesleyan University and brings a wealth of knowledge both with goalkeeping and with our field players. Prior to landing in Ohio, Dougherty was coaching at The Newman (Mass.) School and The Hun School of Princeton. She is a 2017 graduate of The College of New Jersey, where she played field hockey and was their star goalkeeper.

Sarah Charley: Sarah is an FHL Alumni athlete and former standout forward at The Ohio State University. Prior to landing at OSU, Sarah helped position FHL as one of the top U-19 programs in the nation. She secured championships in the Regional Club Championship on two occasions and got noticed on the national level, ultimately being recruited to Ohio State.
With the Buckeyes, Charley started nearly every game in her freshman season. We are lucky to have Sarah in Columbus with us and continuing to share her knowledge and passion with our young players.

Mara Hunter (Youth Head Coach): Hunter recently graduated from The Ohio State University where she was on the varsity field hockey team. Mara will remain in Columbus and is currently enrolled in law school.
Mara is a former FHL player from 2013 - 2016. She was recruited out of high school to play in college at OSU and has never looked back.
Mara helps coach our youth programs and has mentored many new players that have gone on to love the game.

Kiersten Thomassey (Youth Head Coach):
Kiersten is a current student-athlete at UNC and is an FHL alum. As a freshman at UNC, Kiersten helped UNC win the NCAA Division 1 National Championship. More details on Kiersten to come!
