FHL Attendance GUIDELINES
Attendance is a priority with Field Hockey Life. Individual and team growth is directly correlated to how much you practice. We expect all registered athletes to attend practices and tournaments. We understand emergencies arise and athlete's might have conflicts occasionally but all absences must be communicated EARLY and will be handled on a case by case basis.
FHL Registration & refund
COVID-19 ADJUSTED TRAINING & REFUND PROCEDURES
We will offer online training in place of in-person training for entire teams who are shut down
due to COVID (positive case, contact tracing, etc.) until we are able train together again as a team.
If in-person athletic activities for the entire club site(s) are shut down temporarily due to government or facility-mandated guidelines, we would plan to move to a virtual format until in-person activities can resume. We would do our best to make up any missed in-person sessions at a later time in the season.
If a government-mandated or facility-mandated shutdown were to cause the club site(s) to not be able to make-up those missed sessions, we would work to issue partial refunds for the missed hours that we are not able to make-up virtually.
Please note that a portion of the refund may be withheld to cover processing fees and administrative costs.
CLUB
FHL does not prorate programs! We do our best to work around athletes schedules but if players need to miss sessions, we can not deduct the price. In addition, if inclement weather causes FHL to cancel a session, it is not guaranteed that the training will be reschedule. FHL will issue a full refund 15 days prior to the start of a training academy, after which, no refunds are guaranteed and a doctor's note is needed for consideration. Refunds for select teams and travel tournaments are done on a case by case basis.
CLINICS
All one-day clinics are non-refundable. If you encounter an emergency and can not attend, please contact FHL and let them know. If we encounter unfavorable weather, we will do our best to play through it or extend the clinic hour if facilities allow us to do so.
CAMPS
Seven days or more prior to the start of camp, FHL will refund 1/2 the total price of the camp. Six days or less to the start of camp, FHL can not refund any of the total amount.

playing up an age group
Individual players may be asked to play up an age group for two reasons. Firstly, coaches may move up players to even out numbers. Secondly, a player may move up to be more challenged. It is a priority within the club for individual development, as well as team development. Therefore, and athlete may be asked to play up an age group in rare cases.
