winter season (Columbus Region)
overviewOur winter season takes place indoors where athletes will play indoor field hockey. This sport is a little different then traditional outdoor field hockey with only 6 players on the court and boards around the playing surface to facilitate passing options and keep the ball in play. This is a very fun and fast game that allows players to work on their stick skills and footwork, as the play moves faster then in outdoor field hockey. It is a great way for new players to learn and fall in love with the game and experienced players are challenged at different areas of their game.
We have created opportunities for all players during this season. If you are looking for instruction from our coaches to help take your game to the next level, participate in the Training Academy and enjoy traveling to play in competitive tournaments! Whatever your interests, just sign up and have fun running around with a stick in your hand! |
